Colhoun/Colquhoun

I am a Colhoun from Australia with roots back to County Donegal, Ireland and then to Scotland. My ancestral grandparents owned Tironeill where my ggggrandfather Samuel Colhoun was born. His siblings were Matthew, James, John, and Frances Jane.
Samuel had two sons, John and Samuel Jnr, and it was John who came to Australia in 1865 and started our tree here.
Whilst the Australian branch kept the name as Colhoun, Samuel Jnrs son changed to Colquhoun, as did James family.
